The RL8004ES is a high-integration EPON OLT switching device newly developed by RicherLink. Complying with IEEE802.3ah and China’s communication industry standard (YD/T 1475-2006), it provides superior switching capabilities and carrier-grade reliability and security features through industry-leading chip solutions. Its powerful O&M monitoring functions, rich service features, and flexible networking support long-distance fiber access. The RL8004ES can also provide better management and maintenance solutions via RicherLink’s NMS3000 network management platform.
The RL8004ES EPON OLT device offers 4 standard EPON ports for downlink, 4 GE electrical ports for uplink, and 4 10G SFP+ optical ports for uplink. It supports SLA and DBA, a split ratio of up to 1:64, and can connect up to 256 ONU end-users. It supports hybrid networking with different types of ONUs. With a simple and compact 1U design, it is easy to install and maintain, saving space. The product is suitable for various needs such as triple-play networks, video networks, corporate LANs, and WANs.
